METHOD FOR PREDICTING LINK TRAFFIC SPEED AND DEVICE FOR THE SAME

The present invention relates to a method to predict a future vehicle speed in a position of a current road. To achieve the purpose, the present invention considers an influence of future events on traffic flow such as a change of traffic demands, a climate change, constructions, occasion, and sudden situations; and calculates and provides passing speed information by link of traffic information generation unit. The method comprises: a step of obtaining a first time series value on a first vehicle speed; and a step of predicting the speed of the first vehicle at a first link.
