The invention relates to an end effector for a manipulator (1), wherein the end effector interacts with a workpiece (2), wherein there is provided at least one carrier (3, 4) for a tool arrangement (5, 6), said carrier being configured in particular as a carrier plate, and wherein the tool arrangement (5, 6) serves for interacting with the workpiece (2). It is proposed that the carrier (3, 4) is formed at least in part from a deformable material, in particular from an elastically deformable material, and that the carrier (3, 4) is assigned an actuator arrangement (7, 8) by way of which the carrier (3, 4) is deformable and thus the tool arrangement (5, 6) is orientable in space. |
