PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Taylor reactor capable of obtaining desired particle diameter and particle size distribution.SOLUTION: Provided is a Taylor reactor comprising: an outer tube 1; and an inner tube 2 rotating at the inside of the outer tube 1, and in which a plurality of Taylor vortexes, and a gap space 10 is provided with a shield plate 6 of suppressing fluidization between a plurality of the Taylor vortexes T. The shield plate 6 being an annular rib, and formed so as to be projected from the inner wall face of the outer tube 1 to the inner direction. By reducing the Taylors vortexes T in contact with the shield plate 6, diffusion between the Taylor vortexes T is suppressed, and the ratio of the particles flowed out as residence time is short can be reduced. Thus, after the particles grow to desired sizes in the same Taylor vortex T, it moves to the following Taylor vortex T, finally, the particles small in desired particle sizes and particles small in a particle size distribution can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
