The present disclosure relates to a data sharing method and device, belonging to the field of communications. The method comprises: monitoring and acquiring an event where a mobile storage device is inserted into a DLNA device; acquiring, by a DLNA serving end, a mounting path of the mobile storage device; and sharing, by the DLNA serving end, data in the mobile storage device according to the mounting path. The present disclosure solves the problem in the related art that a DLNA serving end cannot share the media content in a mobile storage device. Compared with the solution in the related art, the present disclosure realizes the effect of sharing data in the mobile storage device in a DLNA system by acquiring a mounting path of the mobile storage device by a DLNA serving end, and further scanning the data acquired in the mobile storage device according to the mounting path, and then sharing the data in the mobile storage device, thereby fully improving the sharing capability of the DLNA system. |
