The present invention relates to a propulsion device for a vessel. The propulsion device for a vessel includes: a propeller hub transmitting a rotation force of a driving unit by being installed in the rear of a hull; and at least a propeller wing installed in the propeller hub and generating propulsion in the hull. The propeller wing includes: a fluid discharge unit of discharging a fluid to an end of the propeller wing or the propeller hub; and a fluid inlet unit installed in a leading edge of the propeller wing. According to the present invention, the propulsion device for a vessel reduces cavitation of a propeller since the propeller has the fluid inlet unit and a fluid outlet unit. The propulsion device for a vessel improves the propulsion of the vessel and improves energy efficiency of the vessel. According to the present invention, the propulsion device for a vessel also includes the fluid inlet unit in the propeller to discharge the fluid by a drop of pressure by a centrifugal force or a pressure of the leading edge of the propeller. Therefore, the propulsion device for a vessel simplifies composition thereof and reduces installation costs since there is no need for a device for discharging a fluid. Also, the propulsion device for a vessel can obtain enough space in the vessel. |
