PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator which enables improvement of electric characteristics while using molding coils, and to provide a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine according to an embodiment includes: a toric yoke; teeth; chips; and molding coils. The teeth protrude from the yoke in a radial direction. The chips protrude in a circumferential direction at radial tip parts in the teeth. The chips have different protruding lengths when viewed in a direction that the chips face each other at the tip parts of the teeth located adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. Each molding coil is divided into coil parts. The molding coils are respectively inserted into slots formed between the adjacent teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
