PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed anode type X-ray tube which stably operates for a long time while suppressing enlargement of size and increase of manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: The fixed anode type X-ray tube includes a cathode 10, an anode 20, a cathode hood 30 and an electrically insulative vacuum enclosure 50. The cathode 10 includes an electron emission source. The anode 20 includes an anode target 21 with which a focus to emit X rays is formed. The cathode hood 30 surrounds the anode target 21 and is set to the same potential as the cathode 10 while forming an opening 30o through which X rays are passed, therewith. The vacuum enclosure 50 accommodates the cathode 10, the anode target 21 and the cathode hood 30 therein. The fixed anode type X-ray tube satisfies h/r≤0.82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
