PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video imaging apparatus which can take a stereoscopic video with a larger parallax without giving unpleasantness and distress to a viewer by preventing the sudden change in the parallax before and after switching of videos in the operation of the plurality of stereoscopic video imaging apparatuses.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic video imaging apparatus having angle of convergence drive means for varying an angle of convergence, angle of convergence detection means for detecting the angle of convergence by the angle of convergence drive means, focus means for varying an object distance and focus position detection means for detecting the position of the focus means comprises: parallax information communication means which performs communication of parallax information with an external device other than the stereoscopic video imaging apparatus; and parallax information processing means which calculates parallax information and control information for controlling the angle of convergence drive means on the basis of the parallax information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
