In a linear vibration motor of the present invention in which a movable element, which includes a magnet and a weight, and an elastic member are inserted into a frame, assembly work can be performed while confirming a correct attachment state of the elastic members and assembly is simple. A linear vibration motor 1 comprises: a movable element 10 provided with a magnet 11 and a weight 12; a frame 2 that supports the movable element 10 such that the movable element 10 can freely slide in an axial direction; a coil 4 that is fixed to the frame 2 and drives the magnet 11 in the axial direction; and an elastic member 6 that applies, to the movable element 10, an elastic force that acts against the driving force applied to the magnet 11. The frame 2 is provided with: a bottom surface plate 20 that has a bottom surface portion 20A to which the coil 4 is fixed; an upper surface plate 21 that has an upper surface portion 21A that opposes the bottom surface portion 20A; and a front surface plate 22 that faces in the axial direction and supports the elastic member 6. The bottom surface plate 20 has partial side surface portions 20B that are respectively bent from both side edges of the bottom surface portion 20A and in which an opening 20C is formed in a central part of the partial side surface portions in the axial direction. |
