PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal cap for indirect hot-line work with which a core wire is prevented from being unexpectedly brought into contact with pole equipment.SOLUTION: A terminal cap 10 includes a pair of outer cylinders 1a and 1b and a pair of sets of inner cylinders 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d. For each of the outer cylinders 1a and 1b, one end side is connected in a freely bendable manner and another end side is freely opened/closed, such that a wire W can be introduced. The sets of inner cylinders 2a and 2c and inner cylinders 2b and 2d are capable of covering the wire W in an outer circumferential direction. The terminal cap 10 includes four compression springs 3 and a pair of bands 4a and 4b. The compression spring 3 energizes a force that makes the pair of inner cylinders 2a and 2b or the pair of inner cylinders 2c and 2d close to each other. The bands 4a and 4b maintain the state where the pair of inner cylinders 2a and 2b and the pair of inner cylinders 2c and 2d are separated against the energizing forces of the pair of compression springs 3 and 3. When a central part of the terminal cap 10 is cut, the pair of inner cylinders 2a and 2c and the pair of inner cylinders 2b and 2d are capable of protruding closer to a notched part 12k, thereby covering a core wire Wc of the wire W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
