PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detection system and a method of the same for detecting movement of a plurality of rotors which rotate at a high speed while moving a rotation axis by electromagnetic means.SOLUTION: A reader/writer device 3 includes a body antenna 12. A passive tag 10 can receive a magnetic field or a radio wave from the body antenna 12 with a tag antenna 14 to operate, and communicate with the reader/writer device 3, and is given to detected objects 2-1, 2-2, and 2-3. An AC magnetic field or an AC electric field along a predetermined direction is given on a detection area surface by the body antenna 12, and the reader/writer device 3 measures temporal variations of reception efficiency in the tag antenna 14 having single directivity or single polarization characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
