PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle automatic transmission capable of achieving the size reduction of entire mechanisms at a time of actuating a shift mechanism and a park mechanism by one actuator.SOLUTION: A vehicle automatic transmission comprises: a shift mechanism 63 engaging and fastening/disengaging an engagement clutch 8c by movement of a coupling sleeve 8f, and selecting a predetermined shift position (low shift position); a park mechanism 64 engaging and fastening a parking pole 18 with and to a park gear 17, and fixing a rotation system to driving wheels 14 to a transmission case; and one first electric actuator 41 actuating both the coupling sleeve 8f and the parking pole 18, the shift mechanism 63 and the park mechanism 64 being disposed at positions axially overlapping a transmission output shaft 7 coupling a driving motor-generator 2 to the driving wheels 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
