The invention relates to a method for producing l-menthol in solid form, characterised by the following steps: providing a menthol melt; supplying the melt to a drop former having a rotating, perforated outer drum and a fixed row of nozzles on the inner side of the outer drum; depositing menthol melt, generated by the drop former, on a circulating cooling band; hardening the menthol melt to form l-menthol pastilles during transportation on the cooling band; and removing the pastilles in the region of a diverting drum for the cooling band. |
