The multidirectional input device of the present disclosure has a case and a movable body attached to the case so as to be able to move in a plurality of directions about a predetermined neutral position, the movable body being kept from rotating relative to the case, and the movable body being disposed facing the case. Further, the present invention has a first position-detecting part for outputting a first signal in response to the position of the movable body, and a cam part formed on one surface that is either the surface of the movable body facing the case or the surface of the case facing the movable body. Still further, the present invention has: a restraint member for biasing the movable body toward the neutral position, the tip of the restraint member being in elastic contact with the cam part; and a second position-detecting part for outputting a second signal in response to the position of the restraint member. |
