PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and moving image publishing system capable of extracting, from a moving image, a part that a user desires to publish and generating and publishing a digest moving image.SOLUTION: An image processing device extracts a plurality of frame images from a moving image and performs image analysis to determine a scene in each frame image. The image processing device divides the plurality of frame images into subframe image groups according to a reproduction order of the moving image, where a subframe image group includes a single frame image differing from scenes of the preceding and subsequent frame images in the reproduction order of the moving image, or two or more frame images in which a same scene continues. The image processing device determines, on the basis of priority of publication, whether or not to publish each subframe image group; and combines the frame images contained in a subframe image group determined to be published so as to generate a digest moving image for the moving image. The image processing device then uploads the digest moving image to a server through a network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
