Provided are: a roll mold manufacturing method that makes it possible to use a roll master multiple times; and a roll mold manufactured using said method. A roll master (10) obtained by forming a relief pattern to be transferred on the inner wall surface forming the cylindrical hollow section is prepared. A metal layer (20) is deposited on the inner wall surface (10a). A separation-assisting layer (30) having a thermal expansion coefficient larger than the thermal expansion coefficient of the metal layer (20) is formed on at least one end of the surface of the metal layer (20) in the inner wall surface cylindrical axis (A) direction. With the roll master (10) in an environment with a lower temperature than the temperature during formation of the metal layer (20) and the separation-assisting layer (30), the metal layer (20) and the separation-assisting layer (30) are allowed to contract more than the roll master (10) to separate the metal layer (20) from the roll master (10). The laminate (40) of the metal layer (20) and the separation-assisting layer (30) is withdrawn from the roll master (10) to produce a roll mold provided with a laminate (40) with the metal layer (20) as the outermost surface and a relief pattern (25) complementary to the relief pattern (15) on the outermost surface. |
