In the present invention, provided are an apparatus and a method for reducing switching losses of a three-phase voltage source inverter. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for reducing switching losses of a three-phase voltage source inverter comprises: a clamping leg selecting part which selects the remaining two phases except a phase having a middle value among future voltage references of three-phase per every sampling section and selecting a leg with a higher absolute value of a load current among the selected two phases; and a switching control part which suspends a switching by clamping the selected leg. |
