Embodiments according to the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for managing large scale resource description framework (RDF) data. The method for managing the large scale RDF data according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: storing first RDF data, composed of triple elements having a first arrangement order, at a first table; rearranging the triple elements, constituting the first RDF data, to have a n^th arrangement order (where n is a natural number of 2 or more) and generating n^th RDF data constituting the rearranged triple elements; and storing the n^th RDF data at an n^th table. The embodiments according to the present invention enable corresponding operations to be rapidly and efficiently performed in the case that internet based services want storage, search, inference, etc. of the RDF data.
