The present invention provides a composition for a sealing material, having water collecting function, and a sealing material for a solar cell. One embodiment of the present invention can provide a sealing material having water collection function. The sealing material for a solar cell comprises a matrix resin composition and water-absorbing substances. In addition, the sealing material is helpfully used as the sealing material for a solar cell or the like, thereby providing a solar cell module capable of maintaining excellent durability, even if being exposed to external environment for a long time.
