A reinforcement structure for an upper deck of a ship is disclosed. The reinforcement structure for an upper deck of a ship, according to an embodiment of the present invention, is described as follows. Reinforcement members are formed in a hollow polygonal cylinder shape having open top and bottom. The reinforcement members formed in a polygonal cylinder shape are coupled to each other in rows, and the open cross sections of the reinforcement members are coupled to the bottom surface of an upper deck. Therefore, the reinforcement members reinforce the rigidity of the upper deck in longitudinal and width directions of a ship. Moreover, the reinforcement members formed in a polygonal cylinder shape have rigidity stronger than a conventional bar-shaped reinforcement member, thereby increasingly reinforcing the rigidity of the upper deck. Also, the reinforcement members make the thickness of the upper deck relatively thin as the reinforcement members have strong structural rigidity. Thus, the present invention reduces the manufacturing costs of the ship. |
