Provided are a monitoring system and a monitoring method using an attachable camera to maintain security and secure evidence. A monitoring system of the present invention comprises: an attachable camera consisting of transparent PVC material trapezoidal pillar-shaped housing with a circular or rectangular upper side and one side of 50 mm or 100 mm installed in one of roadside tree, street light, sidewalk, road, crossroad, building pillar, outer wall, wheelchair and underarm crutch, a photovoltaic module to supply power using photovoltaic power generation, a memory into which behavior image patterns of fighting, sexual violence, building outer wall climbing, fire, traffic accident, car fleeing, vandalism, theft and robbery, a video photography module installed inside the housing to photograph an outside, a behavior recognition module to determine whether the pre-stored behavior image patterns are recognized from the outside image, a vide capture module to output a captured image by continuously capturing the corresponding outside image if the behavior image pattern is recognized, and a wireless communication module to transmit the captured image and ID information in real time; a user terminal to receive and display the captured image and ID information in real time, and display location information according to the corresponding ID information on a map; and a monitoring server to receive, store and display the captured image and ID information in real time and automatically notify a pre-designated contact number of crime or emergency corresponding to the captured image. |
