VARIABLE EDITING METHOD OF ULTRASOUND IMAGES AND ULTRASOUND SYSTEM PERFORMING THE SAME

Provided are an ultrasound system, which edits a label displayed with an ultrasound image, and a method thereof. The method for displaying a label comprises the following steps: displaying a plurality of labels on ultrasound images based on a predetermined critical value; receiving a selection signal which selects at least one label from the labels and an adjustment signal for adjusting the critical value; generating at least one new label based on the adjusted critical value according to the adjustment signal; and replacing a part of the generated label, and displaying the same in a region corresponding to the selected label. According to the present invention, the ultrasound system may accurately and conveniently edit a label in consideration of a geometric shape of the label formed on a three dimensional ultrasound image.
