PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting wire rod that can suppress deterioration in superconducting characteristics.SOLUTION: A superconducting wire rod 10 includes a laminate 20 and a coating layer (protective layer 7 or stabilization layer 9). The laminate 20 includes a substrate 1 having a main surface, and a superconducting material layer 5 formed on the main surface. The coating layer (protective layer 7 or stabilization layer 9) is disposed on at least the superconducting material layer 5. In the coating layer (protective layer 7 or stabilization layer 9), a surface portion of the stabilization layer 9 located on the superconducting material layer 5 is in a convex form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
