PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner which is capable of attaching a wind shield member to be arranged at a flexure part or a division part of an indoor heat exchanger with an integrally provided engaging claw without using a support member so as not to positionally deviate or come off.SOLUTION: An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: an indoor heat exchanger 4 disposed in a unit body by flexing or dividing the indoor heat exchanger 4 into a first heat exchanger 4A and a second heat exchanger 4B; and a wind shield member 11 provided at a flexure part or a division part of the indoor heat exchanger 4, in which the wind shield member 11 is integrally provided with engaging claws 15A, 15B, and 16 that are formed at a plurality of positions along a lengthwise direction of the wind shield member 11 at predetermined intervals so as to be engaged with heat exchanger tubes 9 of the first heat exchanger 4A and the second heat exchanger 4B; and each of the engaging claws 15A, 15B, and 16 is provided with at least one or more of projections 17 that are formed on lateral faces of the claws so as to be engaged with plate fins 10 of the first heat exchanger 4A and the second heat exchanger 4B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
