PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric tool which reduces dust which is caused by cutting and enters into a bearing installed in a spindle cover to significantly extend the product life.SOLUTION: A grinder includes: a gear case 3 provided at the front side of a motor housing incorporating with a motor; a spindle 31 extending from the gear case in a direction substantially perpendicular to a rotary shaft of the motor; and spindle covers (41, 46) covering the spindle. The spindle covers comprise: a first cover member 41 made of a metal; and a second cover member 46 which is attached so as to cover the first cover member 41 and made of a resin. The second cover member 46 is fastened to the gear case 3 by screws so as to sandwich the first cover member 41. A wheel guard 20 is fixed by the second cover member 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
