This device comprises a hollow body and a plurality of slideways (40) disposed side-by-side in the body, each slideway forming a duct (60) for storing and circulating objects, said duct opening out at a respective window (70) which provides both a function of displaying at least a part of said objects and of dispensing said objects from the internal volume. Provision is made of means (40, 54) for holding each object close to said window, said means defining a local narrowing in the cross section of the duct (60). Said holding means are designed not only to allow a user to see at least a part of said object through said window (70) while preventing said object from exiting, in a first orientation thereof, and to allow said object to pass, in a second orientation thereof, through said window. The invention ensures that the space available in tobacconists and pharmacies is optimized and, more generally, tends to make the everyday life of the tobacconist or pharmacist easier. |
