PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control system of a vehicle and the control method of the vehicle capable of accurately grasping the position of a vehicle, and automatically driving the vehicle.SOLUTION: The control system of a vehicle includes: a function control device; a chip key matched with the function control device, for controlling the function control device; and radio communication equipment. The radio communication equipment is matched with the chip key, and transmits command information to the chip key. The chip key includes a first position assigning module. The function control device includes a second position assigning module.
