PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container that has sufficient durability and can give a good operational feeling of an operation lever to a user, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A toner container 50 includes: an opening/closing mechanism 53 that can open/close a discharge port 52 by rotation around a shaft center P1; a lever 67 that is rotatably operated by a shaft center P3 parallel to the shaft center P1; a locking member 100 that is rotatably pivoted by a shaft center P2 parallel to the shaft center P1 and can move between a locking position to lock the opening/closing mechanism and the lever and a lock cancellation position; a lever-side extension part 671 that is provided on the lever and extends in the direction of rotation of the lever; and a lock-side extension part 110 that is provided on the locking member, has the rigidity higher in a direction along an arc locus drawn by the extension part through displacement of the extension part associated with the rotation of the lever than that in its radial direction, and when the lever is rotated while the locking member is located at the lock cancellation position, is brought into slide contact with the extension part, while deformed in the radial direction by the extension part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
