In this invention, a sensor system in which a sensor device connects to a mobile telephone or other information processing device to sense the properties of an object is configured such that constant measurement values can be obtained regardless of whether or not the case of the information processing device is shorted to the ground (GND) of the information processing device. The sensor device (210) is provided with an output terminal (214) and is used by inserting the output terminal (214) into an audio input terminal (103) of the information processing device (100). The sensor device (210) is also provided with a moisture sensor (212) and a ground electrode (213) that are mutually flush. The ground electrode (213) is short circuited to the GND in the information processing device (100) via the output terminal (214) and audio input terminal (103). When the moisture sensor (212) directly contacts the skin of a user, the ground electrode (213) shorted to the GND also is in contact with the skin of the user. |
