<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficient heating performance even in an EV mode when there is a heating demand, while minimizing problems, such as increase in fuel consumption and noise, in a hybrid vehicle (HV). <P>SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle (HV) with a heater, when there is a demand (heating demand), such as for cabin heating and internal combustion engine warming-up, and when waste heat (including remaining heat) from an internal combustion engine available for heating is insufficient, a target value of lower limit rotation speed of the internal combustion engine is switched according to whether a traveling mode of the vehicle is the EV mode or an HV mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
