<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment composition exhibiting only a low decrease in luminance even if having been subjected to a high-temperature thermal history, and to provide a color filter containing the same in blue pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment composition contains 0.1 to 10 pts.mass of an antioxidant (B) per 100 pts.mass of a triarylmethane pigment (A) represented by formula (I), and the color filter contains the pigment composition in blue pixels.
