CLUSTER MANAGEMENT METHOD AND DATA STORAGE SYSTEM FOR SELECTING GATEWAY IN DISTRIBUTED STORAGE ENVIRONMENT

Disclosed are a cluster management method and a data storage system for selecting a gateway in a distributed storage environment. Each storage in a data storage system includes a plurality of duplicated storages which are in mutual duplication relation. The data storage system may include a plurality of gateways for delivering calculation requests from a client to one of the storages. Hereon, the cluster management method includes: a step for confirming the calculation affinity information between each of the storages and each of the gateways; and a step for choosing one gateway which has the highest calculation affinity with the storage where the calculation to be requested from the client is to be applied by using the calculation affinity information, among gateways.
