Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a method of controlling notification information based on a motion of a user in a virtual reality (VR) environment. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method of controlling notification information comprises: a step of displaying a screen based on a VR environment; a step of displaying a notification on at least a portion of the screen when the notification is generated; a step of determining whether an assumed user gaze spot reaches a display location of the notification; and a step of displaying notification information relevant to the notification.
