Provided is a data processing system comprising: an application processor, a memory device, and a channel connected between the application processor and the memory device, wherein the application processor encodes first data in response to a write command using a first encoding key and a first initializing vector and transmits the encoded first data to the memory device via the channel; the memory device decodes the encoded first data using a second encoding key and a second initializing vector and stores the decoded second data at a memory core; the second encoding key and the second initializing vector are stored at the memory device; the first encoding key is the same as the second encoding key; and the first initializing vector is the same as the second initializing vector. The data processing system can encode and decode data in order to prevent information leakage due to a physical attack from the outside when the data is transmitted via the channel between the application processor and the memory device. |
