<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling type simple crane for rooftop work which can be flexibly installed in a space of a narrow and indeterminate shape and with many obstacles such as a rooftop space of an existing building, and capable of carrying in individual members constituting the crane by human power and easily executing assembling and dismantling on the rooftop of the building, and to provide a method for carrying in or carrying out a suspended cargo using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The assembling type simple crane for rooftop work includes a stay 2 formed by connecting a plurality of short stay units, a frame 4 for supporting the stay in an erected manner, an arm 3 which is attached to an upper section of the stay, and turned in the horizontal direction, a winch 6 for hoisting and lowering the suspended cargo via the arm, and a plurality of counterweights for making balance between the suspended cargo and the frame when hoisting and lowering the suspended cargo.
