The present invention relates to a door latch device for an automobile, and more specifically, to an automobile door latch device which is capable of preventing dangerous situations wherein the door of an automobile opens in an emergency situation such as the car crash on the lateral side. The automobile door latch device according to the present invention comprises: an intermediate lever for locking or unlocking a door for opening or closing an automobile; a cable connected to the door handle arranged on the door; a cable cover for covering the cable and detachable in case of an impact to the door; and an anti-opening lever which is detachably fixated to the cable cover and has the intermediate lever within the rotational radius. |
