<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED bulb which can irradiate up to the vicinity of a ceiling by making use of such merits as restraint of power consumption and long service life. <P>SOLUTION: The LED bulb includes an LED drive circuit part, a housing cup for housing the LED drive circuit part by providing a base at a bottom part for a socket to be plugged in, a flat-plate LED substrate for capping an opening of the housing cup to close it, a light guide rod which can light up a direction further toward the base than a horizontal face of the LED substrate by guiding LED light emitted from the LED substrate and irradiate it sideways, and a dome-shaped light-transmitting cap put on the LED substrate and the light guide rod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
