<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of resin, which is capable of fully reducing the swelling of a label surface without reducing buckling strength, and which is made lightweight. <P>SOLUTION: The bottle 1 made of resin includes a vertically elongated container-shaped bottle body 3 filled with contents. The bottle body 3 is formed in desired thickness to reduce the weight of the bottle. A sidewall 8 of the bottle body 3 has a labeling area 20 recessed radially inward for attaching a label. The labeling area 20 is formed with a recessed reduced-diameter portion 23 over the entire circumferential periphery of the area to reduce the swelling of the sidewall 8 when internal pressure caused by carbonated beverage or the like is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
