PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone, of a simple and inexpensive structure though, having a noise reduction function capable of noise reduction suitable to a noise environment.SOLUTION: Provided is a headphone for generating a noise reduction sound signal for reducing a noise derived from sound pickup with a microphone, and reducing the noise by a processing system that acoustically reproduces the noise reduction sound signal and acoustically synthesizes it with the noise. The headphone includes: holding means for holding plural sets of parameters previously prepared in accordance with plural kinds of noise characteristics; selection setting means for selecting a parameter set used for noise reduction from among the plural sets of parameters; digital processing means for generating a noise reduction sound signal by using a digital sound signal and the selected parameter set; an equalizer circuit in which equalizer characteristic is changed in accordance with the selected parameter set; and a speaker for acoustically reproducing a prescribed input sound signal to which the equalizer characteristic was applied by the equalizer circuit and the noise reduction sound signal. |
