An object is to provide an electric tool having an enhanced cooling efficiency of the switching element while suppressing the increase in size thereof. The electric tool of the invention includes a motor 1 including a rotor 6 and a cylindrical stator 7 surrounding the rotor 6, a circuit board 10 provided with a switching element 11 for controlling rotation of the rotor 6, a heat radiation member 12 to be transferred heat from the switching element 11, and a cooling fan 9 for generating a cooling wind, which are housed in a body housing 30. The body housing 30 has a cooling passage R for passing therethrough the cooling wind. The cooling passage R is formed so that the cooling wind flows from a center side toward an outer periphery of the heat radiation member 12 and thereafter flows over a front surface of the circuit board 10. |
