Provided is a manufacturing method of a glass substrate, which can prevent exfoliation of a black matrix by removing a liquid containing a detergent on a glass substrate through a contact cleaning unit. In the present invention, the manufacturing method of a glass substrate for a color filter which has a black matrix resin formed on the surface, comprises: a cleaning process to supply a cleaning liquid containing an inorganic alkaline-based cleaning agent added with a surfactant to the glass substrate and clean the glass substrate; a rinsing process to infiltrate a rinsing liquid to the cleaning liquid attached to the surface of the glass substrate from the cleaning process; and a removal process to remove the cleaning liquid infiltrated with the rinsing liquid from the rinsing process by passing the cleaning liquid through the contact cleaning unit which is installed spread from one end to the other end of the glass substrate. |
