<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train operation control apparatus 303 and a train operation control method, achieving quick and sure control of a signal by the combination of extremely simple rules. <P>SOLUTION: The train operation control apparatus 303 delimits a railroad line in a blocked section having the signal at a starting point and having no signal at an end point. Then, a plurality of blocked sections, which are present in front of the blocked section, where the train exists, and include the blocked section, where the train is to advance, and in which the signals must be collectively controlled, are enumerated in a reservation range. Then, it is determined whether or not the train may pass from a head record of the reservation range. Connection relation between the blocked sections is classified into three types of a forward direction, confluence and crossing. The train operation control apparatus 303 determines whether or not the train may pass according to the connection relation, not limited to the blocked section within the reservation range, and by also investigating the blocked sections related to the blocked sections enumerated in the reservation range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
