PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent a gift certificate from being illegally used and perform effective checkout.SOLUTION: A commodity registration device 10 comprises: a scanner unit for reading commodity identification information in a bar code attached to a purchased commodity; a clerk operation unit for inputting gift certificate information; and a printing unit for converting the commodity identification information and the gift certificate information into two-dimensional codes and printing the codes on an accounting receipt. An accounting device 20 comprises: a RAM for storing a commodity data file which includes the commodity identification information, a commodity name, and a sale price for each commodity; a scanner unit for reading the two-dimensional code printed on the accounting receipt; and a CPU for performing accounting processing by calculating a purchased total amount on the basis of the read commodity identification information and the commodity data file and calculating a gift certificate total amount on the basis of the read gift certificate information. |
