The present invention relates to a hood opening device using an emblem and an operating method thereof. The hood opening device comprises: a placing bracket; a push-pull casing; the emblem; and a spindle gear. The placing bracket is formed on a hook fixing the hood of a vehicle and has pipe-shaped opening to the front side of the vehicle. The push-pull casing has a pipe-shape and has a mounting groove formed between the inner circumference and outer circumference to allow the placing bracket to be inserted therein. A spring is inserted into the mounting groove. The emblem includes an outer casing allowing the push-pull casing to be inserted thereinto. The nut gear is installed on the interior of the outer casing. The spindle gear is formed on the exterior of the push-pull casing to be coupled to the nut gear. The fixed hood is released using the emblem such that a driver can easily recognize a device for releasing the fixed hood. All devices for releasing the fixed hood are included in the front side of the vehicle such that a separate device such as a cable becomes unnecessary. |
