The present invention relates to a method for processing casing soil used in the cultivation of mushrooms using a culture medium, wherein the method comprises the following steps: i) separating the culture medium from the casing soil, and ii) subjecting the casing soil obtained in step i) to a drying treatment. One aspect of the present invention is to provide a method for reprocessing the casing soil used in the cultivation of mushrooms into reusable residual materials in an environmentally-friendly and efficient manner.
