The invention relates to a strut bearing unit (10). The strut bearing unit (10) comprises a bearing (20), a lower cup (30) and an upper cup (40). The lower cup (30) comprises a tubular axial portion (31) and a circular outward radial portion (32). The lower cup (30) comprises two reinforcing inserts (70, 80) which are distinct from each other. A first reinforcing insert (70) comprises at least one axial portion (71) located within the axial portion (31) of the lower cup (30). A second reinforcing insert (80) comprises at least one radial portion (82) located within the outward radial portion (32) of the lower cup (30). The invention also relates to a motor vehicle equipped with the strut bearing unit (10) and a method for manufacturing the strut bearing unit (10). |
