The present invention relates to a remote controller for a robot cleaner. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the remote controller for a robot cleaner comprises: a camera generating image information of the robot cleaner and a peripheral area of the robot cleaner; a control unit sensing the robot cleaner based on the image information and generating position information of the robot cleaner; a display unit displaying the image information; an input unit provided to enable a control signal of a position-based service provided by being based on position information of the robot cleaner to be putted into the robot cleaner; and a wireless communications unit transmitting the inputted control signal to the robot cleaner.
