Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device and a method for displaying an image in an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a display; an input and output interface for detecting a user input; and a processor for identifying at least a partial area of a webpage, and changing at least partial organizing information of the webpage based on at least the partial area in response to the user input detected through the input and output interface. The display can display at least the partial area of the webpage to be divided from the remaining area based on the change of the partial organizing information of the webpage. Other embodiments are possible.
