A display device comprises a display panel (100) and an optical plate (200). The display panel comprises a surface comprising a display area (DA) and a non-display area (NDA), the display panel further comprising a bending portion (BA) that is bent and a non-bending portion (NBA) that is not bent. The display panel comprises: a base substrate (SUB), an array of pixels formed over the base substrate, and electrically conductive lines (SL1 - SL4) disposed over the base substrate and electrically connecting the array of pixels to an exterior device (300), the electrically conductive lines comprising at least one extension (SL2_B) formed in the bending portion and overlapping the non-display area when viewed in a thickness direction of the display panel. The optical plate is disposed over the display panel, and comprises: a first optical plate portion (201) covering the display area, and a second optical plate portion (202) covering the at least one extension of the electrically conductive lines.
