The present invention provides a liquid discharge apparatus comprising: a liquid discharge head; a movement unit; and a driving unit. The liquid discharge head comprises: a substrate; a plurality of pressure chambers two-dimensionally installed on a first surface of the substrate; discharge openings installed on the pressure chambers, respectively; a pressure generation unit discharging a liquid through the discharge openings; a flow channel connected to the pressure chambers; a common liquid chamber installed on another surface of the substrate; and a plurality of supply paths installed between the pressure chambers adjacent to each other and connected to the common liquid chamber. The movement unit relatively moves a liquid discharge head and a recording body. The driving unit drives the pressure generation unit. The flow channel corresponding to the pressure chambers adjacent to the supply path is connected to the supply path. The driving unit outputs a drive signal on different timing to the pressure generation unit corresponding to the pressure chambers connected to the supply path.
